About ZEETRICITY!
ZACHARY SIGNALS BIO:
Like many musicians, Zachary Signals began exploring music in high school forming the bands, ‘The Reign’ and ‘Pablo Mantis’; the latter influenced by artists Nirvana and Silverchair.
After completing high school, Zachary formed the post-punk outfit ‘Nu-Fiction’ where he became the principal songwriter.
After the release of ‘Nu-Fiction’’s self titled album and extensive performances on the Gold Coast, Signals moved onto releasing his first album as a solo artist, ‘The Importance Of Vogue’ under the name ‘Zaiquiri!’; the album being an homage to his early influences such as the groups Japan and T.Rex.
The following year, Signals released his second solo album, ‘Night Talk’. After this release Signals began performing once again, leading to a special performance at The Tivoli for The Queen’s Ball.
Signals remained quite active over the next couple of years, releasing two more albums, ‘How To Defeat Your Enemies’ and the darker, more theatrical album ‘Songs From Swine City’. It was with SFSC that Signals began to incorporate themes explored in the plays he had written years earlier, resulting in his first concept album, something he would continue to explore in later albums.
During COVID, Zachary moved to Sydney where he released a follow up album to SFSC, ‘The Life And Times Of Cindy Spider’; the first album under the name ZEETRICITY!. It was also during this period he released his first instrumental album, ‘Channel Z’.
Now, in Brisbane, Zachary is working on his new album, ‘Cautionary Tales From Route 96’.
